LEARNING TO SLOW DOWNLIFE

My name is Ibabe. I life in a little flat in a little town, in a little country, in a little matchbox.

My childhood was full of burda magazines on my mother´s kitchen floor, yarns and neddles on the sofa and a sewing machine´s sound as a soundtrack.

My grandmother, who is 95 years old, crochets nowadays little socks for her grand grandchildren, and my mother, who is not so active as she used, always has something to make.

I studied engineering but that family heritage was too strong to keep it inside. So I started the blog to give my creative part a chance.

After all these years, and even without noticing, blog has changed into my new way of living. Trying to slow down, enjoying each moment  and sharing all those little things that make each day different, from a good book, to a recently discovered corner and handmade gifts.

LASAITASUNEZ BIZITZEN IKASTEN

Ibabe diat izena. Pisu txiki batean bizi naiz, hiri txiki batean, herri txiki batean, nire matchbox txikian.

Haurtxaroa Burda aldizkariz beteriko sukalde batean pasa nuen, non ohialak eta lanak edonon aurki zitezkeen. Josteko makinaren soinua gure gazte egunetako musika bihurtu zen.

Amama, jada 94 urte dituen arren, gantxilozko kaltzetinak egiten ditu bere bilobentzat eta amak, nahiz eta lehen ez bezala lan egin, beti ditu eskuartean jostun lanak.
Ingenieritza ikasi nuen baina familiaren herentziak indarra hartzen joan zen eta azkenean kreatibitate guzti horri lehio bat ireki behar izan nion. Bloga idazten hasi nintzen.
Urteekin, eta ia konturatu gabe, bloga, ni bezala ere aldatzen joan da, bizitzeko modu berri bateruntz bideratuz. Gauzak lasaiago hartu eta une bakoitzari dagokion atentzioa jarriz. Bloga gauza txiki guzti horiek azaltzeko atea bihurtuz joan da.

APRENDIENDO A VIVIR DISFRUTANDO
