Corner view: Spring

I am with a flu. I have no spring photos. I am a little terrible disaster, so take a look to the photos a friend took this weekend. They are SPRING.
Katarroarekin nago. Ez dizkiat argazkirik. Desastre txiki bat naiz, beraz lagun batek hartutako argazkiak begiratu. UDABERRIA dira.
Tengo un trancazo terrible. No tengo fotos.

Grandmother´s room

This is my grandmother´s room. I took this photos last time I went to visit her.

All furniture are old style wooden ones. They could easily be nearly 50 years old.
Mueble guztiak egurrezkoak dira eta erreski 50 urte inguru izan ditzakete.

I remember my grandmother crocheting since I was a child. So her room is full of handmade things. The blanket on the bed is hers, the chair and the little runners on the table.
Amamak betidanik egin du gantziloa. Beti zegoen bere lanarekin eskuartean. Gela eskuz egindako gauzez betea dago. Ohe gaineko koltza, aulkiko errematea eta nonahi dauden tapeteak.

On the bedside table she has one of her treasures. A photo of her and her husband. So many years ago, in Arantzazu. Where they used to go on holidays.
Ohe alboko mahaian bere gauzarik maiteenetarikoa dago. Aitona eta bere argazki bat. Hainbeste urte dala, Arantzazun. Nora oporretan joaten ziren.

And the old sewing machine. A great treasure I will love to inherit. It works! Eta amamaren josteko makina zaharra. Niretzak izango balitz!

Corner view: typical architecture

I was thinking about typical architecture, and inmediately thought about Jane and that probably she will show better than me the buildings around us. So I decided to show Atypical, or just more modern one.
Pentsatzen egon naiz euskal arkitekturari buruz, eta Janek fijo nik baino hobe horretaz egingo zuela konturatu naiz.

Concrete and glass. Hormigoia eta kristala. Hormigón y cristal.

Strange forms, like a DNA serie. Forma arraroak. Formas extrañas, como una serie de ADN

Wood and iron. Burdina eta egurra. Madera y hierro.

I have realised that this modern architecture is more typical than I thought, just uses the same materials, stones, woods, irons and glass.
Konturatu gabe arkitektura moderno honek materiale betikoak erabiltzen dituela konturatu naiz, egurra, harria, burdina eta kristala.
More architectures, here.

Corner view: front door

None is mine. Mine has not any interesting story behind. Just mine, that is opened to you through this window. I will love to discover the stories behind these ones. Knock the door!
Ez da batez be nirea. Nirearen atzean ez dago historio interesgarririk. Nirea solik, eta hori lehio honetatik zabalik dago. Gustatuko litzaidake hauen atzekoa ezagutzea.

A bit of green

Some fresh flowers, just to leave the winter outside home. It has been snowing again, and I needed some green, a touch of spring at home.
Loreak, negua kanpoan lagatzeko. Edurra izan dugu berriro, eta berde apur bat behar nuen, etxerako udaberri ikutu bat.

So I have been making some candle holders. The picture above is before having it baked. How colours can change with the heat!
Etxerako kandela euskarriak egin ditut. Goiko irudikoak labetik pasa baino lehenagokoak dira. Nola aldatzen diren koloreak beroarekin!
He estado haciendo alguna cosa para casa.

Corner view: miniature worlds

Live is like a chess set. Where different people play different parts.

Each game is miniature world. With houses-towers, with animals-horses, with friends-alfils and simple workers.
Joku bakoitza miniaturazko mundu bat da. Etxe-torreekin, animali-zaldiekin, lagun-alfilekin eta langile soilekin.

At my grandmother´s

This weekend I have been at my grandmother´s. She will be 91 on the 11 of march, so we had a great family meal with aunt-uncles, cousins, cousins couples and babies...so nearly 30 people.
This is the street were my grandparents have lived since they got married. Now it is quite different. But it is special to remind how live was not so many years ago.
Astebukaera honetan amamanean egon gera. Ostegunean 91 urte betetzen ditu, beraz bazkari familiarra euki gendun, osaba-izekokin, lehengusuak, hauen bikoteak, umeak...ia 30 pertsona.
Hau aitonen ezkontz osteko etxea dagoen kalearen argazki zaharra da. Nahiko aldatua dago orain, baina berezia da gauzak nola aldatu diren ikustea, ez hainbeste denboran.

The day was quite grey, but I manage to take some green with me. Today is snowing again.
Egun grisa izan arren, berde apur bat lortu nuen arrapatzea. Gaur berriro edurra diagu.

A couple of photos of ancient (begining of the 20th century) and nowadays.
Argazki pare bat, lehengo eta gaurko baserriarenak.

Corner view: coffee companion

Most of the coffees I take during the week come from here. The coffee machine at the office. The coffee is really good. Just black coffee for me.
Hartzen ditudan kafe gehienak makina honetatik ateratakoak dira. Ofizinan degun kafe makinatik. Kafea nahiko ona da. Hutsa niretako.

And for you?

Working desks

Lately I have been a bit busy and without much time or streght for anything. I have spent my time between my two desks. First one at home. The old desk I carried from my parents, the same where I studied when I was at school and at university.
Azkenaldian piskat lanpetuta eta ezertarako denbora edo indarrik gabe ibili naiz. Denbora asko pasa det nire bi mahaien artean. Lehenengoa etxean. Gurasoen etxetik ekarritako mahai zaharra, non gaztetan eta unibertzitatean ikasi nuen.

The second one. My office desk. Now it is quite ok, not big paper montains or huge plans of buildings opened on the floor.
Bigarrena. Lanekoa. Nahiko ondo dago orain, paperezko mendi izugarririk gabe eta plano irekirik gabe.

Hope to find again my way.
